Responsibilities
  •          Provide direct management leadership to Maintenance Technicians
  •          Assign, schedule, and manage maintenance resources as needed to support operations and facility requirements.
  •          Manager, monitor, and control maintenance-area parts and material usage.
  •          Track and evaluate individual maintenance department employee performance results.
  •          Provide support to maintenance technician training.
  •          Heavy focus on continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
  •          Support and enforce facility safety systems.
  •          Monitor and support PM program.
  •          Conduct annual employee performance reviews

Required skills and qualifications:
  • STRONGLY preferred this individual has maintenance management or supervisory experience in the food processing industry.  Any manufacturing will be considered though.
  • Engineering experience is a plus.
  • Must have B.S Degree or 5+ years of maintenance experience (at least 2 in a production environment).
  • Strong knowledge and training with both continuous improvement and safety.
  • Direct experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, PLC's and HMI's as outlined above.
  • Direct involvement with Preventative Maintenance programs and safety systems such as LOTO
  • Experience with equipment and electronics such as: motors, drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
