This is an excellent Maintenance Management opportunity with an industry leading and nationally known company.  You will work with and be mentored by excellent managers who CARE about your success and personal development.  For an outstanding candidate, this is a potential FAST TRACK OPPORTUNITY TO BECOMING A PLANT MANAGER.  
This person MUST have experience with extrusion blow molding equipment
(Bekum, Fischer, Uniloy, Rocheleau, and Cincinnati).  Will consider VERY strong supervisory level experience as well for the right candidate.
PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Build and maintain a high level team of extrusion blow molding maintenance technicians
  • Mentor and train your team on a daily and consistent basis.  Mentor and train new and existing maintenance technicians.
  • Supervise installation and maintenance of blow molders, dryers, compressors, labelers, palletizers, and similar manufacturing machinery). 
  • Be able to recommend new vendors and optimized resources to reduce operating costs of equipment.
  • Managers monitor the performance of all members of your team and give appropriate counseling and feedback, including annual reviews.
  • Work with food safety issues and report issues to the food safety team.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement, 5-S and Quality initiatives.  
  • Proficient with mechanical and electrical systems and understanding of AC and DC voltages and power transmission systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Related degree or sufficient working experience
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience in an extrusion blow molding environment (
  • Experience with blow molders, dryers, compressors, labelers, palletizers, etc.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance and running the changeover team and being involved in lean and six sigma training techniques are used to drive changeover times to an optimized level.
  • Strong management, and leadership skills and great communication skills, and desire to be in a team atmosphere.
  • Quick study with new equipment.  Ability to apply systems to new pieces of equipment.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen, 5-S and Lean Manufacturing.
  • The safety of everyone in the plant must be of paramount importance to you.
  • Strong computer skills are required. A good understanding of MS Excel, MS Word.
